1. Current use
Blackfrost does not set first-party browser cookies for analytics, advertising, personalization profiles, or cross-site tracking. The site uses limited browser local storage only to remember that the privacy notice was acknowledged, retain the Day/Night theme requested by the visitor, keep the model slugs the visitor selected for the cart, and remember the current comic page in the Frost Man reader.
Local storage is similar to a cookie, but the data remains on the device and is not automatically included with each web request.
2. Current storage inventory
These records are necessary storefront or preference records, not advertising identifiers, and are not used to follow visitors across unrelated websites. Purchase terms are shown on the Blackfrost order page used to start checkout and again in Stripe Checkout. The server records the applicable policy bundle when checkout is created and marks acceptance only after Stripe confirms payment; policy acceptance, payment details, and Hugging Face credentials are not stored in browser local storage.
FrostByte beta access
After a visitor accepts the FrostByte beta terms, the download service sets the essential fb_beta_session cookie only for /frostbyte. It contains an opaque session token, is HttpOnly, Secure in production, and SameSite=Strict, and expires within 72 hours or earlier if access ends. It unlocks requested private downloads; it is not an advertising identifier. Sign out from the download desk or clear this site’s browser data to remove it. See the FrostByte Privacy Notice for server-side access records and installer delivery.
3. Third-party destinations
When a buyer continues to Stripe Checkout or opens a Hugging Face repository, that person leaves the Blackfrost website. Stripe, Hugging Face, X, and upstream-license sites may use their own cookies and similar technologies under their own policies. Their technology does not load on Blackfrost merely because a link is displayed.
4. Your controls
Use the Day/Night selector in the header to change the stored appearance preference. Use the cart’s clear control to remove selected model slugs. Use Clear bookmark beside the Frost Man issue to remove its saved reading position. Use “Privacy choices” in the footer to review current categories. Browser site-data controls can remove any local record; removing the cart record empties the saved cart, removing the theme record returns the site to the operating-system preference, and removing the privacy record causes the essential-storage notice to appear again.
Because no nonessential tracking is installed, there is no analytics or advertising category to accept or reject.
5. Changes
We will update this inventory before introducing a new cookie, pixel, SDK, embed, or other storage technology. Material changes are reflected by the effective date and, where appropriate, a renewed preference request.
